Lt Governor Manoj Sinha is learnt to have approved the proposal of referring 257 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service vacancies for immediate recruitment by the Public Service Commission.
As reported by Daily Excelsior that proposal is all set to be forwarded to the Public Service Commission for the selection through Combined Competitive Examination 2021.
There are 56 posts for Junior Scale cadre, 60 for the J&K Accounts services and 141 for the J&K Police services.
On the direction of Lt Governor, a high level meeting regarding referral of vacancies of Junior Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative service, J&K Accounts Service and J&K Police Service to the J&K Public service Commission for making recruitment through Combined Competitive Examination was held last month in the office chamber of Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department.
In the meeting, sources said that representatives of different departments submitted the list of J&K Administrative Services vacancies to the General Administration Department, which prepared a proposal of referring 257 vacancies.
The proposal was recently submitted to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, who is learnt to have approved the same for selection through Combined Competitive Examination 2021 by the Public Service Commission.
The proposal is all set to be formally received by the PSC within two-three days and the vacancies are likely to be advertised in first week of the new year.
