In the latest update from the Ministry of Education, the exam dates for postponed JEE Main 2021 April and May session as well as NEET 2021is expected over the next week or two. Also, the HRD or Ministry of Education would conduct a meeting with the Vice Chancellors of various Universities today. The agenda of the meeting, it is being told, is a discussion on CUCET or Central University Common Entrance Test, 2021.
VCs of top Central Universities like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Milia as well as IP and Ambedkar University are likely to attend the meeting. The method and process of admission to new academic session is also expected to be discussed.
The meeting after Centre’s decision to cancel CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2021 is crucial. With the uncertainty surrounding the criteria on which students would be evaluated, the biggest question for many has been the admission process in various universities.
