Kashmiri Sikh Community protest in uptown area baghat area of srinagar and demand a Stern law against inter community marriage as according to them a Muslim overaged male married a Sikh girl (18) in a srinagar court under pressure which they object.
They said the family of the girl wasn't even allowed to attend the court's proceedings while the boy's whole family was inside the court. This is biased action towards the minority Sikhs. The girl's family seeks her custody for a week and after that she can choose to take the decision as she wants. It is important to ensure that the girl is given freedom to take her decision which seems to be missing in the way court has behaved.
