100 Percent Vaccinated students shall report to classes, RAT mandatory for Students below 18 years: DC
Budgam, September 07:(KNS) DC Budgam S.A.Mirza in his routine press briefing about COVID-19 status said unless we fallow all (CAB’s) and adhere all SOP’s there is apprehension that positive cases may rise again, that we are witnessing in some areas since last 3 weeks resulting in designation of some new Micro containment zones in the concerned areas.
He said with the opening of educational institutions from class 10th to 12th more precautions and safety measures are foremost need .
DC once again appeal for 100% vaccination of all who fall in the age group of 18 to 44 years, particularly students shall ensure that they are vaccinated before entering classes , he added that students below the age of 18 shall have (RAT) mandatory in case they have to attend classes. Regarding current status DC said presently there are 142 active positive cases, recovery rate is 99% and positively rate stands at 0.46%.(KNS)
