List of Documents Required For Aadhaar Update & Verification
POI (Proof of Identity) documents containing name and photo, POR (Proof of Relationship) documents containing name of applicant and name of HoF (Head of Family), DOB (Date of Birth) documents containing name and DOB, POA (Proof of Address) documents containing name and address, are the set or type of documents according to UIDAI that are required for verification. However, from the list of documents listed below you have to carry any one as your POI, POR, DOB, and POA for Aadhaar verification or update.Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number granted on behalf of the Indian government by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Certain documents are necessary to be kept available while applying for an Aadhaar Card or verifying the same. However, UIDAI advises that if you’re heading to an Aadhaar Kendra for enrolment or to have your Aadhaar details rectified or updated, make sure you’ve filled in the same details as in supporting documents and that you keep the same factor in mind while registering for a new Aadhaar Card.
