Consequent upon receipt of shortfall from Engineering Colleges and the seats, that, remained un-filled during 1st Round of Counselling in various Disciplines of B.E/ B.Tech. (Engg.)
courses-2021 in Government / Private Colleges of UT of J&K, it is hereby notified for information of the desirous / eligible candidates that the Board shall fill up the same by conducting second Round of Physical Counselling for allotment / up-gradation of seats tentatively w.e.f 18.10.2021 as per the schedule given below:
The following procedure shall be followed:
1. The eligible and desirous candidates have to report at the BOPEE offices Jammu/ Srinagar for registration/attendance & fulfillment of all formalities, from 08:30 AM upto 10:30 AM
on their day/date of counselling.
% The candidates who have not joined the college on allotment of seat in the first physical round of counselling shall not be eligible to participate in the up-gradation/second physical round of counselling.
Candidates who have opted for C.N.A/S.N.A or who could not attend lsl counselling due to unavoidable circumstances are eligible to attend the second round of Physical Counselling
for allotment of seats in B.E/B. Tech. (Engineering) courses, The Board has received three applications from the students having rank 658, 704 and 1284 regarding change of their
category from EWS to TFW. On examination of these representations, it has been found that these candidates have inadvertently mentioned their category as EWS but uploaded the
certificate of TFW, Since the EWS category is act applicable to the B.H/B.Tech Engineering courses, the Board has accordingly considered their applications and decided to allow them
to participate in the second round of upgradation/ allotment counselling as TFW category candidates instead of EWS.
The applicant namely Raghav Sanmotra having CET application No.22103602486 has represented before the Board that he has obtained 460 marks out of 500 in I2lh class
examination but due to typographical error his marks have been mentioned 416 out of 500 in the merit list. The board has examined his representation and keeping in view his marks
of class 10+2 (i.e. 460) he is accordingly placed below rank 384 and above rank 385.
The Board reserves the right to notify such changes as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control.
The candidates reporting for up-gradation are advised to bring fee deposit receipt of the concerned college / institution lor check and verification purpose.
Note:-
i) All the candidates reporting at BOPEE offices Jammu/ Srinagar shall strictly adhere to COV1D-19 Advisories issued by the UT Government of J&K from time to time.
ii) Seat matrix shall be Uploaded separately within due course of time before the counselling.
The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in the Information Brochure/ Notifications/ Notices issued in this regard from time to time.
