Srinagar, Oct 6 (GNS): The post-graduate (PG) students of Mass Communication & Journalism (Batch 2018-20), University of Kashmir are yet to get their final results even after appearing in the exams almost three months before.

The aggrieved students told GNS that they were done with their final exams in July and the varsity is yet to declare their final results thus leaving them in lurch.

“We have to apply for the PhD and other scholarships but our final semester results are yet to be out which is barring us to apply anywhere,” said a student wishing not to be named.

The students said they approached the authorities several times but their pleas were met with deaf ears. “We were told that there was some issue while setting up the marks for Choice Based Credit System (CBSC) courses unfortunately they are yet to rectify it,” another student said adding, “Our precious time is being wasted.”

They have urged the KU authorities to declare their result at earliest.

When contacted, Registrar University of Kashmir, Nisar Ahmad Mir told GNS that the matter will be looked into for redressal. (GNS)
