The Meteorological Department has predicted “mainly dry weather” in Jammu and Kashmir till November 10 but said that there is a possibility of light spell of rainfall and snow in higher reaches on November 2 and 6.
“As of now, it is informed that there is no forecast of any major rain/snow till November 10” Director MeT, Sonam Lotus told Greater Kashmir. However, Lotus said “a feeble Western Disturbance is likely to affect J&K on November 2 and November 6 due to which weather is most likely to remain cloudy with possibility of light rain, snow over higher reaches at scattered places of J&K”.
Lotus said there was no forecast for any "major inclement weather" as witnessed earlier this month.
