IPL 2022 Retention Rules:
As far as retention rules are concerned, each of the eight existing IPL franchises can retain four players including a maximum of three Indian cricketers and not more than two overseas cricketers. There has been a little giveaway for the new entrants (Ahmedabad and Luckn
ow) as they are entitled to pick three players outside the auction table.
The Indian premier league (IPL) 2022 auction is likely to be held early in 2022. The retention process will begin from November 1 while the deadline to submit the retained players list is 30th November. Moreover, the two new IPL Franchise will continue to pick their three best players after eight franchise submits their retained players list.
