Srinagar, Dec : The authorities in district Anantnag today imposed a blanket ban on private coaching by the Govt teachers even as the coaching centres have been directed to adhere to the rules and regulations.
A circular issued here by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Anantnag said that a blanket ban is hereby imposed on private coaching of teaching officials including Teachers, Masters and Lecturers working in this district with immediate effect.
“As such, all the heads of institutions and Zonal Education Officers are placed under strict instructions to furnish a clear-cut certificate to the effect that none of the teaching officials from his institution/ Zone is involved in any private coaching in any private coaching centre,” the circular reads.
Further, the Zonal Education Officers have been directed to make frequent visits to all private coaching centres to ensure that the prohibitory orders are strictly implemented on the ground
