Student From South Kashmir Makes It To UPSC Civil Services
Srinagar, Jan 04 : Adam Mohiddudin, a DPS Srinagar alumnus, has cleared the Civil Services Examination 2020 after his name was cleared by UPSC in an extended Reserve list on 31st December 2021,
Adam Mohiddudin is among the 7 candidates from J&K who have cleared the Civil Services Examination 2020.
Mohiddin, a student of DPS Srinagar is 2012 pass-out and thereafter he pursued his Engineering degree from NIT Srinagar before making it to UPSC Civil Services Examination.
Social media pages of DPS Srinagar congratulated their Alumnus.
It is pertinent to mention that Adam is the second ex-student of DPS Srinagar who has made it to the All India Civil Services Examination.
Earlier in 2017, Haamid Bukhari became the first student of DPS Srinagar who cleared the Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC in 2016 and joined the coveted Civil Services.
Haamid Bukhari after passing 12th from DPS Srinagar in 2010 joined Bachelors in Management at IUST Awantipora.
Thereafter he was enrolled in prestigious JNU for a masters degree in International Relations. He cleared Civil Services in 2016.
Mr Bukhari after completion of his training and probation was posted as Incharge union ministry of Corporate affairs in Kashmir valley post abrogation of Article 370.
He was given additional charge of Official Liquidator, attached to Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
Apart from these two success stories, there are many selections in JKAS state services from the alumni of DPS Srinagar.
Amandeep Singh and Syed Eyad Qadri are two latest examples. Both of them cleared the JKAS exam in 2018-19 and are posted as Tehsildars.
